In such cases, the number blocking feature allows you to easily solve this problem. With Apple developing versions of iOS, it has now become much more practical to block unwanted numbers on iPhones than before. In this article, we’ll explain step by step with pictures how to easily block numbers on your iOS 7 and later devices in three different ways.
1. Number Blocking Method: IF YOUR PHONE BOOK HAS A NUMBER THAT NEEDS TO BE BLOCKED
If the person you want to block on your iPhone is saved in your contacts. Enter your phonebook, enter the contact you want to block. At the bottom, you will see BLOCK THIS CALLER. By clicking on this, you will easily add people who are blocked.
2. Method: IF THE NUMBER TO BLOCK HAS CALLED YOU
The person you blocked called you, but you didn’t add it to your contacts, so we’ll do our job where the call records are listed. Find the number you want to block from the call logs, then tap the “i” sign to the right. You will see BLOCK THIS CALLER in the drop-down area, and when you click here, you will block the person who is no longer in your contacts.
3. Method: THE NUMBER TO BLOCK DID NOT CALL YOU OR IS NOT IN YOUR CONTACTS
You don’t have to wait for them to call you to block the number you’re supposed to block. You can easily block the number by entering the number manually by entering the Settings> Phone> Call Blocking & Identification menu.
